Review

A notable feature of this 5-volume work is the scope of its coverage. The articles selected represent a wide range of authors and cover many areas of cognitive linguistic research spanning the several decades of its history. This collection performs the useful service of bringing together an array of classic papers that for many scholars may no longer be known or easily accessible. It is valuable for providing a good sense of the breadth of cognitive linguistics, the diversity of its approaches, and its development over the years. (Ronald W. Langacker)
